REFLECTION

My experience with this module has been a very bumpy ride. As a person who has never reviewed articles or written research papers before, this was a tough learning experience. I struggled quite a bit since there aren't many articles about UI/UX that was related to my topic and I often found myself lost and confused on what to write and how to write it. In the end, I’ve gotten a better grasp on how I would approach this module again if I were given the chance however I don’t think I would enjoy it.

I’ve observed that you really have to be curious and somewhat passionate in order to better research your topic. Additionally, seeing my classmate's work and work from previous students has made me want to strive better the next time around. Furthermore, I've also observed that there really aren't a lot of articles or papers that go in depth about UI/UX design, especially one that was written within 5 years and that was relatable to my topic.

I’ve found that it takes a lot of discipline in order to finish all your research assignments on time and that it was really interesting to see what topics my peers chose and how they navigated their primary data collection. I've also realised that there is a lot of things to consider when researching a topic and when conducting data collection you have to consider all variables and risks for each methodology. Additionally, I've found that you can't claim something without triangulating your data to make it seem reliable.
