Reflection

My experience with this module was very bumpy, but overall very enjoyable. I was definitely a lot more nervous this time around since I felt so critical about my work and making sure that it was 'good enough' for others that I kind of neglected how I felt about it. I've tried working on that a lot more this semester though so I feel like it doesn't affect me as much as it used to but I know I still have a long way to go.

I've observed that you have work on letting go of your fears and anxiety in order to just get the work done. Worrying about how someone else would think of it (if it looks 'bad) only just makes you keep putting off working on it and that's no use. The best thing you can do is just keep creating more variations and ideas and improving upon the best one, the likelihood that you'll create something 'good' on the first try is very very low so don't sabotage yourself by thinking like that.

I've found that I really really enjoy typography and creating fonts, especially from extracting the letters from an existing image or object. It's so inspiring to see what my seniors and classmates have made and it only makes me want to do better.
