Task 1
Afterwards, we worked on the problem, aim, objectives and target audience for our topic.
Then, we thought about how might we statements. Our supervisor also asked
us to research 3 things about our issue which were "what do women want to
know?", "existing solutions" and "issues between women of different ages".
In our next consultation, we discussed our project insights and had a clearer idea on what exactly we were meant to be thinking about as we had already come up with a mindmap for our app that we wanted to do. However, we were told that we were thinking too far ahead and had already created a solution to our problem when our focus should be on what exactly our problem is and what we needed to know about it. Therefore, we refined our project insights and then brainstormed some interview questions.
We then finalised our interview questions after feedback from our
supervisor, and then individually conducted 3 interviews. We aimed to have
3 interviewees that had about a 10 year age gap from eachother.
Once we all finished our interviews, we transcribed them and had another meeting to conduct our affinity diagram. We wrote down the main points from the responses of each question and then categorised them. When we consulted with our lecturer afterwards, she guided us on how to extract the key points from each sticky note and to include the interviewee's background info as well.
Once all the categories were analysed, Katelyn helped summarise all the sections.
During week 1, we formed our groups and were briefed on the project
expectations and deliverables for this module. Afterwards, we brainstormed
topics for our project and discussed them with our supervisor. We decided to
go with the topic about women's personal health and self-care.
Week 2
During week 2, we discussed our progress and research with our supervisor.
Our group was a little confused on what the process was and focused too much
on the solution instead of the issue. After our consultation, we decided to
have another online meeting to revise the project insights and finalise the
interview questions. Once that was done, we sent it for confirmation and
moved onto conducting the interviews.
Week 3
In week 3, we conducted our interviews and then started working on the
affinity diagram. We listed out the key insights from the interview
according to each question and then grouped them. Afterwards, we had a
consultation with our supervisor who told us to dissect the responses
further.

In our first class, we formed groups of 4 people. After forming our
groups, we came up with a list of ideas for our topic.

In our next class, we discussed the ideas with our supervisor. In the end,
we decided to go with women's personal health and self-care. We also
planned our next meeting to do some more research on our topic.
During the meeting, we brainstormed project titles and group names. In the
end we settled on HerSpace as our project and VIVIV as our group name.

Afterwards, we worked on the problem, aim, objectives and target audience for our topic.

We had planned to meet up to finish the affinity diagram together but two
of our group members were unable to make it so me and Katelyn completed
most of the diagram. The parts that still had to be completed were
delegated to the absent members.

FINAL
REFLECTION
My experience with this task was quite all over the place. Me and my group
were a little confused at the beginning and had thought too far ahead
about our final project when it was just supposed to be research and
selecting one specific problem to find more info about. There were times I
felt like our topic could've been something more surface level and not as
deep but we pushed through it.
In my opinion, our group could have done a better job at task delegation
and I feel as though the amount of effort each person put into this
project was not equal but it's something that we can all improve upon for
our future tasks.
I hope that for the next tasks we'll be able to come up with something we
are all proud of.
