LECTURE

Week 4

During our consultation, our supervisor looked over our interview analysis and affinity diagram. She also guided us on how to create our user personas and user journey maps.

Week 5

In week 5, we amended our user personas and user journey maps based on the feedback given. We also worked on combining and summarising our data for our group slides.

INSTRUCTIONS

TASK 2

To start off the task, our supervisor helped direct us on how to go about the user personas and user journey maps. She showed us templates that were available in FigJam and recommended to create personas based on the different age groups from our interviews.

After our consultation, we delegated the tasks amongst the group and agreed to get it done by next week's class. My user persona is a university student that is in her 20s.

We then consulted with our supervisor who gave us some feedback. We then spent the rest of the week amending our user journey map and also combining our individual slides into 1 slide for submission.

REFLECTION

My experience with this task was alright! I don't have much to say about it as I've done this a couple times by now but I did struggle a bit with determining my user persona's interests as there wasn't any data from our interviews on their personalities. I did find that having a short description of the user's needs to reference back to while working on the user journey map helped guide me.
